If you are running notes clients and McAffee anti virus on workstations you will need to ensure that you make exclusions in scanning and on access policies to make sure that notes files are not scanned.
Also bear in mind that its a good idea to turn off the notes scanner for all clients in the McAffee program: its associated with crashing Lotus Notes.
